Lisa Kristine

Lisa Kristine is an "internationally recognized fine-art photographer, humanitarian, activist, and speaker". She has been documenting indigenous cultures and social causes for more than 30 years in over 150 countries. Growing up Lisa learned to love to read her mother's anthropology books and National Geographic magazines about the seemingly ancient people. She loved to document the people and their struggles as well as their achievements. However, over time her art became a form of activism. She wanted to ensure the people's lives, history, and culture would never be forgotten which was another driving force in her images.
